This technology is very effective for hard to mix systems because the application of intense acoustic energy is uniformly distributed throughout the mixing vessel causing a consistent shear field throughout the vessel. Rapid and consistent fluidization of the mix media is particularly effective for mixing gas-liquid, liquid-powder, or powders of disparate particle sizes.

RAM is capable of mixing materials with viscosities exceeding 100 million cP. Highly loaded and/or viscous liquids, inks, adhesives and pastes can be mixed very rapidly with minimal heat generation.
