The Department of Energy, and officials with the Advanced Mixed Waste Treatment Project (AMWTP) gave a presentation at the 2010 annual Waste Management Conference this past week in Phoenix, Arizona. Their presentation highlighted their use of RAM mixing to solve a complex liquid dispersion problem involving the conversion of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) to a non liquid form for transportation and disposal.
